I’m so excited about the new Wallcandy Chalkboard wall stickers I just received. A friend of mine had these in her kitchen and I couldn’t resist purchasing them since they are such a great idea. If you are anything like me, a typical, forgetful mom, you will think these are the best invention since sliced bread.
Write your thoughts, leave phone messages, make a grocery list, draw some pictures — and never get into trouble when you add these peel and stick chalkboard panels to your room decor. They can be easily removed without damaging the walls and can be reused. That’s what the description said. Sounds good to me since there are a few problems in my household such as forgetfulness and writing on walls.
I purchased the WallCandy Arts Chalkboard Panel Wall Decal Kit. It comes with 4, 19”x24½” chalkboard panels to be used separately or combined for a large 49”x38” chalkboard writing surface. I decided to separate them. My thought was to place one in the kitchen next to the phone. Two went in my daughters’ rooms and the last one for the office. I love the one I placed in my kitchen because I can write phone messages, things to remember like the PTA meeting and bills to pay.
My daughters are still using theirs, which is a good sign! The novelty has not worn off yet. But my oldest daughter saw the Cupcake Chalkboard, and now wants this one for her room! I prefer the Wallcandy Arts Rococo
, which would look very stylish in our kitchen!
At first, I was a little skeptical that the chalkboard would come clean when erased. My experience with these types of products has been poor, with the chalk never completely coming off. Well, I’m glad to say that this chalkboard comes clean. I’ve also peeled one of them off my wall, with no sticky residue. And re-stuck it elsewhere without a problem! Have you tried these? What do you use them for?
